Today I want to walk you through the Wendy Nolte Photography experience. Stepping in front of the camera is exciting, but it can also be a little overwhelming if you’ve never done it before. I’m here to help!
This blog post walks you step by step on my process, how I help you prepare, and what the day of will be like. I try to make the whole experience easy and stress-free so that you can enjoy what is most important: creating beautiful lasting memories with loved ones.
The Wendy Nolte Photography experience…
THE INQUIRY-Choosing the type of session you want and the date you’d like to have your session will be your very first steps. I offer everything from portraits, branding, seniors, maternity, newborns, and much more! Once I know this, I can start customizing your inquiry and make sure I have your date available. Not sure when to schedule it? No worries! I can help you select the best date based on when you need your photos ready by.
LET’S GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER- I want to learn more about you and what you’re looking for. I’ll have you fill out a simple questionnaire form that helps me understand how I can best serve you. I love taking the time to talk with my clients and learn as much about them as possible. This helps create a connection on and off camera. The more comfortable you feel with me before your session, the more relaxed you’ll be at your shoot. This will allow your true authentic self to shine through!
THE DETAILS- Now comes the fun part! We will talk specifics such as location, theme, who will be in your shoot, and more! At this point, I typically like to have a phone call or in-person meeting to secure all of the details, and make sure your vision is coming to life. Still feeling a little lost? I have a ton of resources that I would be happy to share with you! From the very best locations, to what kind of outfits and colors to wear, I have you covered. It’s so exciting to see it all coming together! I will send you reminders throughout the process so that you stay in loop during the entire experience. This is also when we discuss packages and products that you may want to purchase. I offer digitals, canvasses, and much more!
THE DAY OF- It’s finally here! I’ll guide you in posing and styling to make sure you and your loved ones look their very best. We will have worked together on outfits and color themes to make sure everyone looks cohesive with your surroundings. I will give you necessary prep instructions and what to bring to your shoot, and directions to your location (if applicable).
AFTER YOUR SESSION- That’s a wrap! Your gallery will be ready in about 2 to 3 weeks. We have a photo reveal session for you to see your images, and then you can place orders on what products and how many digitals you’d like. It typically takes about 2 weeks for the physical products to arrive, after your order is placed. I love hearing your feedback!
