I am married to my high school sweetheart and I am blessed to be a mom to two amazing kids! I had them right after high school, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. My family is truly my life! I started taking photos of my kids when they were babies and I completely fell in love with it. I didn’t own a nice camera for many years, and I sometimes used disposable film cameras…I’m sure I am dating myself now! I took photos of my family all the time. Now, they weren’t good quality photos by any means, but it allowed me to capture so many cherished memories that I am thankful to look back on now! Once I realized how important documenting these memories were, I knew that I wanted to get a better camera and learn how to take better photos. I am primarily self-taught, though I have continued my education through classes and workshops throughout the years. I have come a long way from those humble beginnings, and I am so passionate about my clients and creating an amazing experience for each of them!

I love any opportunity to be creative! If I had to describe my personal photography style, I would say it’s fun, unique, authentic, light and airy, with a POP of drama. I love to shoot different angles and am not afraid to do what it takes to get “the” shot! I like to have a lot of movement in my sessions, which I feel helps bring the photos to life even more. I am known to be very laid-back and I want my clients to feel comfortable with me, even before our shoot. I encourage them to let their true personality and talents shine! My goal is to capture your most authentic self and have a blast along the way! I’ll be honest, I have sometimes struggled finding my personal style in my work and try not to conform to what I think people want to see, all the while doing what I love. It’s been a continuous work in progress, and I feel like as I grow and learn, my style is constantly evolving and improving as well!
